A fully integrated renewable fuels platform
We are the only fully integrated renewable fuels company of its kind, with assets across the value chain stretching from science to seed, and farm to fuel. Our operations start with state-of-the-art plant science to enhance the development and cultivation of our nonfood feedstocks and end with the production and sale of our ultra-low carbon renewable fuel products. Our integration enables us to rapidly scale our business, while simultaneously minimizing costs and reducing our GHG footprint.
Upstream: from lab to farm
Our upstream business features advanced plant breeding practices and production know-how to maximize the yield from our proprietary camelina varieties. Our unique intellectual property portfolio includes patents in plant genetics and genomics, including the only camelina seed varieties currently qualified as Low Carbon Fuel Standard compliant fuels.
MoreMidstream: from farm to facility
Our midstream business consists of the aggregation, handling, storage, and transportation operations for our proprietary camelina feedstock.
MoreDownstream: from facility to market
Our downstream business operations consist of a renewable fuels facility in Bakersfield, California that converts our proprietary feedstock and other fats, oils and greases into drop-in renewable diesel and other ultra-low carbon renewable fuels.
MoreDriving to “Net Zero” emissions
We are committed to delivering on renewable fuels’ promise of sustainability by utilizing our vertically integrated platform, starting with nonfood plant oils grown on idle land in rotation with traditional crops. By leveraging our farm-to-fuel model, we maintain greater efficiencies throughout the value chain allowing us to produce highly sustainable, low cost, and ultra-low carbon renewable fuels. As efficiencies increase throughout our value chain, we hope to drive our carbon intensity score below zero.
